Case Study

SoCore was one of Maven's first clients and is a valued business partner.  Over the past few years we have strived to meet and exceed the needs of SoCore as their business has grown from a small and innovative think tank to one of the main players in the quickly expanding solar industry.

Most recently, Maven has given SoCoreEnergy.com a facelift to better emphasize the core principles of their brand and better highlight the services they can provide to businesses large and small alike. The new website unifies the SoCore message through a balanced and symmetrical layout that focuses on simplified, easy to use navigation and clean, sharp content areas.

However, Maven didn't just make a brochure website for SoCore. Our consultants have embarked on a six month engagement to better understand their sales process and ultimately create a service that allows the organization to maintain closer and more personalized relationships with its customers. This service is a full-featured portal called, "Atrium."

Atrium leverages external data from SalesForce through a real-time batch processing engine that allows clients to view the status and details of their project from start to finish. In Atrium clients can securely view proposals, upload energy bills for review, and ultimately view the activity of active solar panel installations in real-time to better understand the benefits and savings they are achieving.

Likewise, SoCore is better managing their internal operations with Atrium. Maven has most recently implemented a ticket management system to respond to clients and internal matters alike, a Wiki to facilitate better and more centralized knowledge management, and a fully functional project management tool to monitor key aspects of each new business opportunity.

Finally, Maven has created a kiosk display for SoCore's clients to leverage in their business centers. The end consumers and/or employees can see real-time data on hi-definition LCD panels featuring a custom web application that displays solar panel activity, a news ticker, and three-day forecast. Future clients will be able to add their own announcements and photos to a rotating slideshow.

Together, SoCoreEnergy.com, SoCore Atrium, and SoCore Kiosk form a unified technology solution that benefits every business relationship and process for the organization. This extra value and efficiency is not only improving SoCore's bottom line, but differentiating the company from its competitors as a true innovator in solar solutions.
